Earth Based Spiritual Companioning

Spiritual companionship is the steady presence of someone who has walked an earth‑centered path for over sixty years and offers quiet company as you walk your own. It is not about directing or correcting your journey, but about tending to a calm, open space where your questions and longings can breathe.

As a companion I listen with heart, attention and guidance—I draw on my relationship with land, and season, both external and internal, to help you notice the wisdom already moving through your life.  Spirituality is the link.  I may offer simple, earth‑rooted practices: a ritual to mark a threshold, a seasonal reflection, or a grounding rhythm to support your unfolding and reconnection to what is already there, waiting to be remembered and appreciated. I do not impose belief. Insights arise from the surrounding landscape and the quiet within. My reflections are based on what I hear from you and I may gently challenge you, helping you deepen your understanding and stay faithful to the practices that nourish you.

Because I have traveled this terrain myself, as a companion I endeavor to hold your stories with reverence and recognize the sacred woven through your lived experience.

Non-Clinical Care Rev Pamela ‘Aurora’ Hunt offers spiritual companioning as an ordained minister and trained companion — not as a licensed therapist, counselor, or mental health professional. The sacred space of spiritual companioning is distinct from clinical mental health care, medical treatment, or crisis services, and is not intended to replace any of these. If you are in a mental health crisis or require urgent support, please reach out to a qualified professional or a crisis line in your area. Aurora’s companioning work is grounded in sacred presence, deep listening, and genuine care for each person’s unfolding spiritual journey — offered with reverence and without judgment. Eco-Spirituality

Eco‑spirituality is a way of relating to the living world as sacred, recognizing the Earth, its cycles, and its beings as partners in spiritual life rather than background scenery. It invites us to listen deeply to the land, to honor the seasons and elements as teachers, and to understand ourselves as part of an interconnected web of life. Eco‑spirituality blends reverence, responsibility, and relationship — encouraging practices that nurture both inner transformation and care for the more‑than‑human world.

 Simple Ceremony

A simple ceremony of connection with the more‑than‑human world begins with pausing long enough to notice who is present. It might be as gentle as stepping outside, placing a hand on the earth, and offering a quiet greeting to the beings around you — the wind, the stones, the trees, the unseen ones who share the land. A single breath of gratitude, a small offering of water or song, or the lighting of a candle can open the moment. In these simple gestures, we acknowledge relationship, reciprocity, and kinship, allowing the boundary between ourselves and the living world to soften so we can listen, feel, and be met.
